This is another picture taken of the Government Hill area. This is a
picture of what was left of the Government Hill Elementary School. If
this quake had not been on Good Friday just think of how many school
childern could have been hurt or Killed. The last time I was in
Anchorage (1984) the smoke stack is was still there. This school was
only 200 yards from my dads TV and Radio store.
